When your child or teen feels angry, your support can make a world of difference. What strategies do you use to respond to anger without escalating emotions? What can you do to nurture a more calm environment? Join a small-group conversation, led by a Spring Health provider, and share your personal experiences and strategies on how to help children express their feelings in a healthy and constructive way while strengthening family relationships.

Christine Lopez, LCSW (she/her)

Facilitator
Christine Lopez, LCSW graduated with her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2007 from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She has experience working in various areas of the field as a psychiatric social worker, a medical social worker and most recently as a health educator. Christine also provides individual therapy assisting individuals coping with life adjustments, depression, anxiety, and communication. She strives to encourage others to engage in personal growth and resilience.

Ariel Landrum, MS, LMFT (she/her)

Facilitator
Ariel Landrum, MS, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Art Therapist. She is a proud Filipina American practicing out of California. She specializes in Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Art Therapy. She is also a self-identified Geek Therapist, as she incorporates her client's passions and fandoms as part of the treatment process. She is licensed in multiple states to provide therapy and regularly conducts mental wellness training for various Fortune 500 organizations. The populations she specializes in working with are military members and their families, the LGBTQIA+ community, survivors of sexual assault, and AANHPI diaspora. When she isn't conducting therapy in her private practice, Guidance Teletherapy, you can find her trying to catch them all on Pokemon Go.
