At times, we may struggle with knowing how to express our needs. Join our small group conversation, led by a Spring Health provider, to discuss ways we build confidence and self-esteem to help us feel more comfortable advocating for ourselves.

About The Facilitator

Kristen Hernandez, MA, LMFT (she/her)

Facilitator
Kristen Hernandez, MA, LMFT is a Spring Health Provider and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist California and Virginia. She has her MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Kristen has worked with various populations including the chronically mentally ill, families in child welfare, and adults and teens in residential treatment settings. She has experienced how the power of communication and emotional intelligence can heal even the most distant of relationships, and is a champion for purposeful meaningful relationships.

Caren Weingart, LCSW (she/her)

Facilitator
Caren Weingart, LCSW is a multi-state Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in social work at New York University. She also has a second Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. Caren is certified in Trauma and Grief as well as a specialty in anxiety; currently studying Health Psychology. She was honored as a presenter at conferences in New York City which addressed empowerment and Evidence Based Practices. Caren volunteers with non-profits including a local Board of Directors and was chosen to work on a Collaborative with the National Association of Social Workers in New Jersey which is focused on reviewing and approving courses for continuing education. Caren has worked as a therapist and administrator working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in a variety of clinical programs and utilizes evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Oriented modalities to assist clients in their treatment but is also a believer in the strength of supportive therapy.

Dr. Sita Nadathur, PsyD (she/her)

Facilitator
Dr. Sita Nadathur, PsyD believes everyone has the internal resources to heal and grow. Her approach to therapy is strength-based and collaborative with a goal to provide guidance and support during difficult times. Dr. Sita obtained her doctorate from the University of Hartford where she was trained in a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and trauma focused therapy. Her areas of clinical interest include culturally and linguistically competent care, depression, anxiety, and trauma. As a bilingual psychologist (English/Spanish), Dr. Sita uses cultural and social justice perspectives to understand each person’s life context and tailor each treatment uniquely to individual needs.

Dr. Kyle Bishop, EdD, MBA, LCPC (she/her)

Facilitator
Kyle Bishop, EdD, MBA, LCPC is a Spring Health Provider and Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health at the Children's Home Society of Florida. She has 15+ years of experience providing therapy services to a variety of client populations experiencing symptoms such as substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety, and relationship concerns. She has a Doctorate in counseling psychology from Argosy University and Master’s of Business Administration from University of Maryland Global Campus.
